The research project KIBARtronik has launched with a two-day meeting in Bonn, where representatives from all participating organisations gathered to align on objectives, the planned approach and the next steps. This marks the beginning of a multi-year initiative aimed at developing digital methods that support a future-ready circular economy for electronic products.

The project is jointly driven by INC, Fraunhofer IIS, Arvato and Sagemcom. In addition, Deutsche Telekom, Miele, Brose and the industry association ZVEI contribute practical insights from telecommunications, household appliances and industrial applications. This broad mix of expertise forms a strong foundation for development and later testing.
